I have secefully installed the Lion on my lappie, it works, but there is a great problem. It is very slow. I checked the kextstat, and i have seen 2 Atheros kext is loaded for my WiFi adapter (pci168c,2a - AR928X): AiPortAtheros21.kext and AirPortAtheros40.kext (In SnowLeo the WiFi works very well with AirPortAtheros21.kext).

In the network prefs i see my WiFi interface, but it says 'Wifi turned Off' and i can't turn it On. First i tought maybe i don't need the AirPortAtheros40.kext, renamed and kextcache removed. Reboot: Slow as hell Then i removed the AiPortAtheros21.kext, reboot.

Then there is a problem with the WiFi driver. I replaced the whole IO80211Family.kext wit the old version frem 10.6.6 (it works in SnowLeo for me), but it is slow again. I checked the Console, and here i found tons of crashreport: Process: configd 474 Path: /usr/libexec/configd Identifier: configd Version:??? Checked with AirportAtheros21 and 40 kext (from 10.7), kext loaded secessfully, but: syslog: Mar 4 13:55:47 Anons-MacBook-Pro com.apple.launchd1 (com.apple.configd398): Job appears to have crashed: Segmentation fault: 11 Mar 4 13:55:47 Anons-MacBook-Pro com.apple.launchd1 (com.apple.configd): Throttling respawn: Will start in 8 seconds Mar 4 13:55:47 Anons-MacBook-Pro ReportCrash370: Saved crash report for configd398 version??? Unfortunately, the following still happens when trying to connect to my WLAN router: The Airport menu shows I would be connected to my network but there is an exclamation mark which means: Internet connection not available. CreateP2PInterface seems to be the culprit.

It repeatedly mentions: 'ERROR: P2P device interface exists' Please have also a look at my ioreg. My Atheros 9285 04:00.0 Network controller 0280: Atheros Communications Inc. Thanks for your help, iLeopod. I followed your hint and could integrate the two devices together. Please look at the image. For some reason I still get these error messages and the symptoms hasn't changed a little bit.
